RES applies for permit for 30-MW solar park with storage in England

RES Group has submitted a planning application for a 30-MW solar PV park in the West Midlands of England. The plant includes an energy storage system and plans for biodiversity measures. The project aims to generate electricity for 8,000 homes annually and deliver a 74% net gain in biodiversity.
