An international research team developed a room temperature method for making high-quality perovskite films for perovskite solar cells. The team used CsOAm perovskite composition and OAm organic linker for conversion to α-FAPbI3, demonstrating the process on non-traditional PV substrates like plant leaves. They achieved efficiencies over 24% without thermal annealing, surpassing previous low-temperature processed perovskite solar cells. The study details were published in Joule.
