A group led by scientists from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China has developed a lithium-sulfur battery known for its stability and safety features. One of the battery cells demonstrated exceptional safety by functioning even after being folded and cut. In other news, SunPower, a prominent solar company in the United States, has recently closed its operations.
