Results of main energy producers – in line with the price drop, the system operators mark significant increases

Major energy-producing companies reported lower profits due to falling electricity prices. Hidroelectrica's net profit decreased by 23% to 1.32 billion lei. Nuclearelectrica's net profit was 563.27 million lei, down by 26.5%. Transelectrica's net profit increased by 29% to 103 million lei. Transgaz's consolidated net profit was 262.8 million lei, up by 113%.
