Rețele Electrice companies in Romania are committed to digitalize electricity distribution networks by installing smart meters for a more resilient and flexible infrastructure. By the end of 2024, they aim to reach 1.7 million smart meters, the highest volume achieved by any electricity distribution operator in Romania.
