Romania gives green light to CfD scheme

Romania's Ministry of Energy has approved a CfD scheme for solar and wind projects, with key changes and funding from the European Commission. The first solar auction will be for 500 MW, while the second auction will tender 2 GW of solar. Maximum strike prices are set for solar and wind projects. Other developments include mandates for energy storage systems and auction-based mechanisms for grid connections.
