Romania holds first renewables auction

Romania has launched its first renewables auction for 1500MW of capacity, supported by EBRD and funded by Spain and the European Union. The auction encourages investments in solar and onshore wind to increase the share of renewables in the energy mix. EBRD's support aims to scale up private sector investments in the renewable energy sector.
