Romania's Agrovoltaics, Transelectrica sign grid connection deal

Romanian renewable energy specialist group Restart Energy's subsidiary Agrovoltaics signs a grid connection contract worth 56 million lei with power grid operator Transelectrica. The contract will supply green energy to over 200,000 Romanian households. Agrovoltaics plans to develop a 500 MW photovoltaics plant in Simand, Arad county. The plant aims to be the second-largest solar park in Romania. CNTEE Transelectrica SA is highlighted as one of the biggest companies in Southeast Europe.
