Romania's Restart Energy plans 6.5 mln euro bond issue

Romanian renewable energy specialist Restart Energy plans to issue bonds worth up to 6.5 million euro as a private placement addressed to retail investors. The company aims to use the proceeds for its accelerated development in various energy projects including rooftop segment, utility scale projects, and photovoltaic parks. Restart Energy's subsidiary, Agrovoltaics, signed a grid connection contract with Romania's power grid operator, Transelectrica. In 2023, Restart Energy's net profit decreased by 77% to 5 million lei.
