Rompetrol Rafinare completed the turnaround of the Petromidia refinery

Rompetrol Rafinare, a member of KMG International Group, completed the turnaround of the Petromidia refinery in Romania, restarting production facilities after maintenance and modernization. The company invested around $85 million in development projects, involving multiple upgrades. The turnaround aimed at ensuring safety and high capacity production. Despite challenges, Rompetrol Rafinare aims to process 5 million tons of raw materials in 2024 and supports fuel deliveries in the domestic market.
