Rondo signs MoU with Aramco for up to 1 GWh of heat battery storage

Rondo Energy and Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) signed an MoU for potential deployment of Rondo's heat battery technology to reduce emissions. The partnership includes research on various applications of the technology such as in hydrogen production, carbon capture, and solar desalination. The technology captures wind and solar electricity, stores it in brick materials, and converts it into industrial heat and power.
