Saint-Gobain Romania announces the installation of a solar plant in Turda

Saint-Gobain Romania announces the successful installation of a solar plant in Turda to supply line no. 1 of the Saint-Gobain Rigips Turda plasterboard factory. The project, financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and Saint-Gobain’s internal program, aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 238 tons annually. The CEO, Ovidiu Păscutiu, highlighted the company's commitment to adopting renewable energies and achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
