Saudi firm signs 'record-breaking PPA'

The Saudi Power Procurement Company signed two PPAs with Marubeni Corporation setting new world records for Levelized Cost of Electricity from wind power. The projects, AlGhat Wind Project and Wa'ad Alshamal Wind Project, are part of Saudi National Renewable Energy Program. Prince Abdulaziz announced the record low costs of electricity production. The electricity produced is sufficient to power 257,000 residential units per year, enhancing energy efficiency in Saudi Arabia.
