Scatec and AMEA Power to build 1.1GWh of BESS for PPAs in Egypt

AMEA Power and Scatec, independent power producers, will build solar and storage projects in Egypt with a total capacity of 1.1GWh. AMEA Power is set to construct a 1GW solar PV project in Egypt. Projects will create jobs and involve a significant investment. Both companies signed PPAs with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company.
