SECI launches tender for 1.2GW of ISTS-connected solar capacity in India

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched a tender for 1.2GW of new solar PV capacity in India. Successful bids will result in companies signing 25-year power purchase agreements with SECI. The tender aims to encourage the installation of more solar power within the country and expand its grid infrastructure to accommodate the increased capacity.
