SECI launches tender for 1.2GW of ISTS-connected solar capacity in India

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched a tender for 1.2GW of new solar PV capacity in India. The tender, which is similar to a previous tender, requires companies to bid for projects between 50MW and 600MW. Successful bids will result in 25-year power purchase agreements with SECI. The Indian government aims to expand its grid infrastructure to accommodate the growing solar capacity.
