Sector players form ReCreate to build 5-GW PV factory in Tennessee

A new company called ReCreate, formed by Dean Solon and Hamlet Tunyan, plans to build a solar cell and panel manufacturing plant in Tennessee with an annual production capacity of up to 5 GW. The factory will be built at Create Energy's mega-plant in Portland to produce cells and modules for North American and EU markets. RECOM Technologies, with an annual production capacity of over 3.2 GW, announced a partnership with Solar Optimum for a solar carport system in Los Angeles.
