Sembcorp, Equinix sign long-term PPAs in Singapore

Sembcorp, a leading energy firm from Singapore, has secured two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Equinix to supply 105 MW of energy for its data centers in Singapore. The agreements, which span up to 18 years, include 75 MW of solar power from Sembcorp’s renewable energy portfolio and 30 MW from other sources. These PPAs are Equinix's initial ventures into renewable energy in Singapore and support their global goal of achieving 100% renewable energy by 2030.
