Serbia digitalizes permitting in energy sector

The Ministry of Mining and Energy of Serbia has launched digital services for issuing energy permits, extending permits, and environmental impact assessment studies. EUR 30 million loan from EBRD to enhance energy efficiency, renewables in district heating. As part of the project, a grant from SECO and the EBRD was awarded. Digital services aim to streamline processes and enable faster communication with government institutions.
