Serbia, Romania kick off gas interconnection project of 1.6 billion cubic meters per year

Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia and Minister of Energy of Romania signed a memorandum of understanding for a gas interconnection project, aiming to increase gas supply. The project involves a two-way gas pipeline between the two countries. Romania aims to play a lead role in the EU in gas production with investments in offshore and onshore sites.
