Silfab and Scheider Electric sign IRA 45X manufacturing transferability deal

Silfab Solar, a US solar cell and module manufacturer, has completed a tax credit transfer deal with Schneider Electric to support its US manufacturing plans. The deal involves producing tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cells in South Carolina. Crux collaborated with Schneider Electric to procure Section 45X manufacturing tax credits from Silfab. Paolo Maccario, CEO of Silfab Solar, expressed the importance of monetizing the tax credits to expand their manufacturing capacity.
