The US government has announced funding to bolster its domestic solar supply chain with Silfab Solar being awarded grants for innovative projects. Silfab Solar is a Toronto-based solar manufacturer with a facility in South Carolina, working on back-contact n-type cells to enhance solar efficiencies. They also received awards for developing high-efficiency building-integrated PV modules. Silfab Solar is investing in research and development to deliver innovative solar solutions for commercial and residential use.
