Skanska engaged to turn South Brooklyn Marine Terminal into wind port

Skanska AB has received an $861 million contract to develop the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal into an offshore wind port for the Empire Wind 1 project by Equinor ASA. The project includes building infrastructure for wind turbine assembly and maintenance, and integration into New York's power grid.
