Slight decline of demand, while prices drop significantly

The pace of PV installations across Europe is starting to slow down. The PV Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for June indicated a slight decline to 68 from 72 in May, but the market still shows confidence. There has been a significant decrease in solar panel prices across all categories. sun.store, the biggest solar marketplace in Europe, noted a general decline in prices with the most significant drop in full black modules due to overstock and intense competition among manufacturers. Agata Krawiec-Rokita, CEO & Co-founder of sun.store, emphasized the market resilience despite challenges like upcoming solar support regulations and high temperatures affecting installations.
