Researchers from City University of Hong Kong propose blockchain-based solar passports to monetize solar PV plant assets in India. The passports would fill data gaps, verify material origin, quality, and quantity, boosting investor confidence and facilitating PV asset secondary market. They highlight the urgent need for policy integration to manage India's PV waste potential. Different recycling techniques include standard industrial, thermochemical demanufacturing, and delamination procedures. Material recovery analysis shows the prominence of front glass for recovery.
