Solar power for Danish State Railways

Danish State Railways (DSB) has signed an agreement with European Energy for the construction of a new solar park in Eastern Denmark. The solar park, named Lidsø Solar Park, will cover 50 percent of DSB's current electricity consumption for the light rail network in Copenhagen. Aske Wieth-Knudsen, Head of Sustainability at DSB, and Jens-Peter Zink, Deputy CEO at European Energy, are key figures involved in this renewable energy project.
