Solarpack, SJVN ink 482MW Indian hybrid solar-wind PPA

Spanish developer Solarpack signed a PPA for a 482MW hybrid solar-wind park in Gujarat with Indian utility SJVN. The project includes 383MW of solar PV and 99MW of wind capacity, supplying energy to the utility for 25 years. Solarpack CEO in India, Sajay K. V., emphasized the company's competitiveness in the Indian renewable energy market, targeting 1GW portfolio by 2024. SJVN Green Energy sought a 2GW supply of solar PV modules for multiple projects in India, amidst a surge in PPAs and solar PV capacity installations in the country.
