Solarpack, SJVN ink 482MW Indian hybrid solar-wind PPA

Solarpack, a Spanish PV developer, has signed a power purchase agreement with Indian utility SJVN for a 482MW hybrid solar-wind park in Gujarat, India. The project consists of 383MW solar PV capacity and 99MW wind capacity. The CEO of Solarpack, Sajay K. V., mentioned their strategic plan to develop 5GW of multi-technology products in India. The Indian solar industry witnessed a record 10GW of solar PV capacity installed in the first quarter of 2024.
