Solarpack, SJVN ink 482MW Indian hybrid solar-wind PPA

Solarpack signs a 482MW hybrid solar-wind project in Gujarat, India with a power purchase agreement (PPA) with SJVN. The project includes 383MW of solar PV capacity and 99MW of wind capacity. CEO Sajay K. V. mentions the company's plan to develop 5GW of multi-technology products in India. SJVN Green Energy seeks 2GW supply of solar PV modules for various projects across India. The Indian solar industry experienced a record installation of 10GW of solar PV capacity in the first quarter of 2024.
