Soltec announces tracker for concentrated photovoltaics

Soltec, a manufacturer of solar trackers, has partnered with Fraunhofer ISE to develop a two-axis tracker for concentrated PV applications. The project aims to adapt Soltec's technology to meet the requirements of micro-CPV modules. Fraunhofer ISE's latest micro-CPV technology promises increased electricity generation. The new system breaks paradigms in traditional solar tracker design and can be used for solar hydrogen generation and agrovoltaics.
