Soltec’s new bifacial tracking algorithm

Soltec has developed a new bifacial tracking algorithm to optimize the angle for solar trackers, improving power generation by up to 0.12%. The algorithm considers various factors like albedo, soil albedo, and solar positioning data, leading to an estimated economic gain of €6,192 ($6,698) per year for a 50 MW plant.
