Soltec unveils floating PV tracker concept

Soltec has unveiled a new floating tracker design named Flotus, ideal for inland water bodies such as reservoirs and ponds. The tracker features an east-west tracking system and an advanced naval design to withstand water conditions. It offers increased energy production compared to fixed-mount systems and supports the use of bifacial PV modules. Interest has been shown in Spain and the United States for pilot projects.
