Solutions for waste management: ADRBI implements a new Interreg Europe project

The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency is implementing a new Interreg Europe project called CLEAR CITIES to address the entire cycle of waste management. This project aims to improve waste management policies, establish effective waste management models with low greenhouse gas emissions, and align with the EU objective of becoming climate neutral by 2050. Daniel Popescu, the head of Program Development and Assistance Department at ADRBI, emphasizes the importance of bringing stakeholders together to share good practices and information. The project involves stakeholders from Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Slovenia, and Bulgaria, focusing on all 5 phases of the waste management cycle.
