Somalia’s MoEWR tenders for 46 off-grid solar-plus-storage projects in Mogadishu, totalling over 5MWh

The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources in Somalia has launched the Electricity Sector Recovery Project in 2022. They have issued a tender for the provision of solar and storage technology at 46 education facilities in Mogadishu, seeking bids for hybrid/off-grid solar PV plants with battery energy storage systems. The deadline for bids is 1 August, 2024.
