Sonatrach, Hecate Energy to explore renewables, green H2 in Algeria

Algerian state-owned oil company Sonatrach and Hecate Energy Global Renewables (HGR Energy) signed a MoU to collaborate on renewable energy and green hydrogen production in Algeria. The partnership includes conducting a feasibility study for renewable energy projects and exploring green hydrogen production. This initiative is part of Sonatrach’s strategy to reduce hydrocarbon consumption sustainably.
