Researchers from India's Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology have designed a standalone solar-plus-storage system for battery-powered road vehicles. The system optimizes PV energy with advanced charge control algorithms using Ćuk converters. A positive pulse current technique enables efficient battery charging, achieving 100% utilization of PV panels.
