Stassis, PPC: We need to increase investment in distribution networks throughout Europe

Georgios Stassis, CEO of PPC, emphasized the need to double investments in electricity distribution networks throughout Europe, including South-Eastern Europe. In Romania, current investments of 600 million euros per year should be doubled to reach 1.2 billion euros. He also highlighted the impact of renewable energy sources on the energy system and the emergence of new business models such as pumped storage hydropower plants and batteries.
