State-owned DEM to operate Slovenia’s fourth wind turbine

Dravske elektrarne Maribor in Slovenia is expanding its energy mix by constructing a single-turbine wind power plant in Loški Potok, investing just under EUR 2.5 million. The project involves transparent communication with locals and a focus on bird protection. It is a part of Slovenia's efforts to increase wind power capacity despite challenges like population distribution and protected areas.
