Statkraft installs last turbine at 80-MW wind park in Brazil

Norwegian state-owned energy company Statkraft AS completes installation of the last turbine at 79.8-MW Morro do Cruzeiro wind park in Bahia, Brazil. The wind farm consists of 14 turbines generating 386 GWh of renewable power annually, sufficient for over 190,000 local homes. Statkraft plans BRL 926 million investment for 275 MW solar capacity at Morro do Cruzeiro and 519-MW Ventos de Santa Eugenia.
