Stem and Prometheus Power have installed a 40-MWh battery co-located with a 20-MW solar park in Arizona for AEPCO's member SSVEC. Stem and Prometheus will commission similar-sized plants for AEPCO's other co-ops, expected to be online by the end of the year. Stem's BESS uses AI-driven monitoring software. Stem has contracts to install solar and battery storage for MEC and a standalone battery for a major co-op customer.
