Stäubli announces ‘multi-million-dollar’ plan to expand US manufacturing capacity

Stäubli, a Swiss engineering firm, is expanding its US manufacturing facilities in South Carolina and California, responding to increased demand for domestic renewable manufacturing encouraged by the Inflation Reduction Act. The expansion plans to enhance the production of cable connectors and custom products for the solar sector. Additionally, Boviet Solar, a Vietnamese company, announced plans to establish a significant manufacturing presence in North Carolina.
