Summit Ridge Energy, Qcells extend community solar partnership with 2GW PV module supply

Summit Ridge Energy and Qcells extended their module supply partnership by 800MW, bringing the total commitment to 2GW. Qcell's plan includes a 3.3GW plant in Bartow County. The partnership is supported by the Inflation Reduction Act. Brian Dunn highlighted supporting domestic manufacturing and job creation. Castillo Engineering secured 56MW of Illinois community solar projects using fixed-tilt solar mounting systems and bifacial modules.
