Sungrow burns 10MWh of BESS to prove thermal runaway propagation risk mitigation

Sungrow conducted a large-scale fire test on its battery energy storage system in Henan province, China to demonstrate safety in the event of thermal runaway. Other providers like Wärtsilä and Fluence also conducted similar tests to ensure safety of their BESS solutions.
