SunPower ceases shipments, project installations, lease and PPA sales

SunPower, a US residential solar provider, has ceased new shipments and financing options leading to a significant drop in customer growth and stock price. The company announced a halt in Lease and PPA sales and new project installations. SunPower's workforce was reduced by about 1,000 jobs and business segments were closed to lower costs. Enphase Energy and other companies may be impacted by SunPower's decisions.
