Tata Power’s Tirunelveli fab to make solar cells from June

Praveer Sinha, CEO and managing director of Tata Power, announced the commissioning process of 4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. The facility aims to stabilize and reach peak capacity in three months. Tata Power also operates a 4 GW PV module manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli. The company targets meeting DCR obligations and focusing on residential rooftop solar projects
