An international team of researchers used π-conjugated terpyridine Lewis-base molecules as a perovskite absorber passivating treatment in prototype solar cells, achieving 25.24% power conversion efficiency. The treatment showed concentration-independent passivation effect, maintaining 90% initial performance after extensive testing. Detailed protocol for fabricating long-lasting passivated perovskite solar cells was also provided in separate research.
