The Energy Ministry is considering 16 cogeneration projects worth a combined 780 million euros

The Energy Ministry of Romania is considering 16 cogeneration projects worth a total of 780 million euros. Various municipalities and organizations have submitted applications for funding in high-efficiency cogeneration and modernization of district heating networks. The investments aim to meet the 2030 Green Deal targets by developing flexible gas-fired generation capacity and supporting the construction of high efficiency cogeneration plants.
