The European Court of Auditors raised concerns about the EU potentially missing its 2030 renewable hydrogen targets due to lack of solid analysis. The US Department of Energy signed a $12.6 billion deal with Arches to build a hydrogen hub in California. California Governor Gavin Newsom highlighted hydrogen's role in decarbonizing ports and supporting various hydrogen-powered vehicles. ZeroAvia partnered with Ryze to supply hydrogen for testing at Cotswold Airport. Masdar raised $1 billion through a green bond issuance to support renewable energy projects and aims to become a leading green hydrogen producer by expanding its capacity to 100 GW by 2030.
