German electrolyser maker Thyssenkrupp Nucera AG & Co KgaA reported a net loss of EUR 7.2 million in its second fiscal quarter despite an 11% increase in sales driven by its alkaline water electrolysis segment. The company faced challenges due to rising costs, lower gross margin, and effects from service business. It expects higher incoming orders spurred by the growth potential in the green hydrogen market.
