Researchers from Chungbuk National University in South Korea have developed a novel tin halide perovskite solar cell using an additive, 4-Phenylthiosemicarbazide (4PTSC), to enhance stability and efficiency by reducing defects. This development offers an environmentally friendly solution for multi-junction photovoltaics, achieving a new efficiency record of over 12.2% under standard testing conditions.
